Profiles 1-30 (16/17 October) have unusual salinity profiles. The fresher water seen in the first 10 or so metres of the profile may be attributed to a freshwater plume originating from the Fly River, PNG. No historical regional data was present within a 2 degree square of these profiles, so they could not be confirmed. These profiles have been marked as okay (1).
